Performing music that traverses the African Diaspora. The enchanting sounds of the mbira, kora, steel pan and bamboo flute comprise the essence of Spirit's sound. Neighborhood Concerts are funded in part by the New York City Council and Department of Cultural Affairs. Additional support is provided by The Max and Victoria Dreyfus Foundation
